Small landlord rented her upstairs apartment (she lived downstairs). Hard working small landlord smelled dog urine so went up to take a look and saw the renters where running a torturous, filthy puppy mill!
She called the police thinking this would solve the matter. The renters were charged for multiple misdemeanor charges of animal cruelty, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child!
Angry that cops seized 20 dogs and puppies the renter got so angry he and his relatives ATTACKED the small landlord!
The landlord was beaten by the renter and his relatives!
We need more protection as already many small landlords are committing suicide because of the unfair rules in Ontario!!!
