No need to "lie"...just a need to "explain".
I like to have strong personal relationships with my renters. I explain things because, it's true, they usually have no idea of the challenges we face as small landlords. So no need to lie just go and ask them and explain why this will protect them (in multi-unit properties) and focus on a WIN-WIN situation.
Just my way of doing business, and yes I'm a millionaire doing it. (not bragging, just hope to inspire)
