Insider: Kingston, Ontario Will License Residential Landlords in 2018

#1 Unread post by TOGeordie » January 27th, 2018, 7:26 pm

The city of Kingston is considering putting in place a residential rental licensing system, which would require landlords to maintain their properties to certain standards in order to ensure that the health and safety of the residents is protected.

The committee report recommends it.

Word is that those opposed in council now will add this to the overall overhaul of regulations (including the Airbnb issues) and will approve it.
