How about promising to pay a "$200 late fee" to delay the eviction notice and then just not pay it?

How about promising to pay a "$200 late fee" to delay the eviction notice and then just not pay it?

#1 Unread post by Stones » June 11th, 2018, 2:45 pm

As my personal battle to improve my life and future prospect continues it is very important for me to avoid paying for my housing for the next 6-8 months. It is time for me to get out of the rut that has been haunting me for a a few months now and get back to school, get back to my dream.

My landlord texted me about when the rent will paid. The reality is the rent WILL NOT BE PAID BECAUSE I NEED THIS MONEY FOR OTHER THINGS.

Been trying to come up with some ideas on how to delay any eviction notice coming my way.

Has anyone offered to pay a $200 "late fee" to satisfy the landlord lust for my money?

Smoking a bit of a fine leaf tonight and my mind in doing wonderful things.

Was thinking to offer a $200 late fee along with June and July rent on July 1st.

1. I will put on a big show of apologizing for not paying for something that I shouldn't even be paying for as this property is crap and hasn't even been painted in the past few years and needs to be updated.

2. Offer to pay June rent + July rent, with a SWEETENER of $200 as a "late fee" to add the cheese to the mouse trap so to speak.

Need to reply by tomorrow so any tips and strategies are appreciated.
